Albert J.J. de Lange

Albert grew up in Magalieskruin, Pretoria, graduating in 1996. He earned his B.Com Honours degree from the University of Pretoria in 4 years. Afterward, he completed his SAICA trainee contract with Den Boer & Van der Laan (now RSM Betty & Dickson Tshwane) in 2003, serving as a manager until 2005. He also undertook a secondment to Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, during this time. In 2005, he joined a new firm formed by Japie van der Laan. In 2013, Albert completed the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Management Development Programme through WITS. From March 1, 2014, he and Johannes Coetzer took over from Japie van der Laan, who retired. Since March 1, 2023, Albert has been the sole shareholder and director of DNL Associates Inc., following Johannes Coetzer’s resignation to start his own company, JC and Partners (Pty) Ltd.
